Hello! and thank you for stopping by ...

I am a full time artist working in new hampshire and have been for over 20 years. my influences are found in everyday life, the people I meet, the books that I read and my travels. I follow the rule to make a line everyday and find that through this process I learn the most. I enjoy my work everyday in our studios alongside my husband Rainer, who makes each day a little more wonderful than the one before.

my approach:

I enjoy creating artwork on a variety of surfaces – some quickly others over months or even years guides my finishing processes. the variety of line and lack of line develops my paintings. For me, to create art around the thought of a fleeting moment, reoccurring thought, memory, or event is the most accurate and immediate way to express my passion for visual expression. I work primarily in drawing, printmaking, painting and some sculptural forms.
